Planting seeds

"Planting Seeds" is rooted in childhood memories of watching my mum gently tend to her garden, and coaxing life from seeds on our kitchen windowsill.

It is a tribute to the women in my life, each one navigating their own personal and delicate dance with body image, eating disorders and mental health.

We have all felt the healing power of botanicals in different ways; from the act of gardening to the softness of florals in our clothing. And for me, the lure of making botanical art with watercolours and brushes en plein air. This piece is a celebration of growth, resilience and feminine strength.
